"He Alfred, I'm heading home now! I gotta get up early tomorrow!" I shouted at my friend over the loud thump of music from the giant sub-woofers.
"What?!" Alfred shouted back.
"I'm leaving! You-Never mind, bye!" I yelled back. Alfred gave some nod although it was obvious that he had no idea what I was saying.
I headed out of the house and towards my car before getting in and starting it. Or at least I tried
to start it, but the engine wouldn't turn over.
"You've got to be kidding me," I grumbled, getting out of the car and slamming the door before I winced at the loud sound it made. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket before putting it back when I realized doubted that any of my friends would want to pick me up in the middle of the night.
"You seem to be annoyed, ma belle
. May I ask what seems to troubling you?" I glared out the ground in front of me before turning to Francis.
"Is this another ploy to try to get in my parents?" I growled at him. He started to slightly sweat before waving his hands in front of him.
. I'm truly sorry about that [Name]." Francis seemed to actually give me a genuine smile. I gave him a good long stare and then sighed.
"My car won't start and I'm trying to get home."
"I could walk you home if you wish, mademoiselle
," he offered, holding out his hand. I stared at his hand with a raised eyebrow and then looked away.
"Fine." Francis smiled at that. "BUT! If you try a single thing, I will not hesitate to call the cops on you okay?" I pointed at him.
, I understand." I nodded curtly at that before walking past him. He quickly jogged up next to me and we remained quiet for a while before Francis would start talking to me. I would either shut him down completely with a short answer or I would not respond at all but I would nod to show I was listening. He didn't actually seem that bad of a person; maybe he was a bit perverted at times and a little dramatic, but he seemed to actually care what others thought.
"And Gilbert decided zhat he wanted to try to-" I turned to Francis and cut him off as I was standing in front of my front door.
"Welp, it was nice talking but I've got to go now," I said quickly, opening the door some as I backed through it a bit. Francis' smile faltered a bit before coming back but with a little more force behind it.
"Of course. May we meet again, ma belle
." He gently took my hand and gave it a small kiss. He then turned and started to walk away. I sighed out of relief and turned to go inside, but paused.
"Wait," I called out. Francis turned back to me and I clenched my eyes shut. I reached into my house, pulling open the drawer in the table next to my front door. I grabbed a pen and walked back to Francis. I grabbed his hand roughly and wrote my number on it.
I'm honore-" I grabbed the front of his shirt and smashed my lips to his. It was not very graceful to be honest. My teeth clashed against his a bit but he didn't seem to mind. I pulled back before the kiss could go to far.
"Text me. We should start over and get a better impression of each other," I muttered, turning my head. I let go of Francis before walking back into my house and closing the door.
(I love you.)
